1. Crossing the River to School

cross是动词,“穿越,越过”,主要指“横穿”。

还可以作名词,意为“十字形,叉形符号”。

across既可以作介词,也可以作副词。

crossing 是名词,“渡口,交叉点”。

It is +adj.+to do sth. “做某事是。”

between ...and... “在。和。之间”,连接两个并列的成分。

between/among
